The FDA just approved a home monitoring device available by prescription. Insurance paid!

AnemoCheck Home, an at-home hemoglobin test kit for anemia, received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval on January 9th. The test is an in vitro diagnostic device* that is available by prescription only.

The manufacturer is Sanguina. If you care to perform home monitoring (who wouldn’t)ask your oncologist to provide a script.

Does it just test for hemoglobin or does it also test for platelets and wbcs???

I am uncertain…. but platelets and wbc cells follow Hg.
