    Hi.

Has anybody received Venetoclax together with Azacitidine or Inqovi in Sydney Australia for MDS (not AML)? If so please let me know where or from which doctor (and hopefully not a closed clinical trial).

My mother has high risk MDS and St Vincents in Sydney has said they have a policy not to give the combination as it is not officially approved even though it is used in the USA, UK and Europe and looks good in the Verona trial. We have spokent to a renowned Haematologist in the UK who would give it to my mother if she were there. Unfortunately we cannot fly anywhere due to low platelet levels.

    We are desperate.

    Thank you.

I’m in the United States but I did the combination of Venetoclax and Inqovi. Thought you would like to know that I had minimal side effects. Did it two years ago when I started treatment. Blood counts crashed and needed at least one platelet transfusion each month.

    Thank you Michael.

    Hello,

I just wanted to reach out. I looked for clinical trials with Venetoclax in combination with other therapies for MDS in Australia. Unfortunately, there are no active trials. AbbVie is the company that makes Venetoclax. Would you like me to reach out to my contacts there to see if they have any upcoming trials?

    Hi Ashley.
Thank you very much. I found a doctor who assessed my mother for Venetoclax but unfortunately thinks she would not be able to withstand the toxicity.
    Thanks again.
